10 THINGS TO DO ON SUMMER ROAD TRIP

Standing on a deserted gravel road, miles away from any repair shop, on the way to infamous death valley. We were driving on full AC on a a sun baked 90 degree afternoon when we heard a loud 'Pffft'. We knew we had a flat. To save a few minutes our GPS routed us to unmarked road. Even the bars on mobile phones were almost non existent. At first Even 911 could not locate us.That was the moment it strike me to write about '10 things to do on summer road trip'.I may have left few points but what I am writing is coming right out of the experience we had. So today I am sharing the things to do before planning a road trip.

1. Get your car ready for the trip. Every tiny details need to be checked from tires to wipers and brakes to engines.

2. Make sure car manual is in the car, it comes really handy to know what step to take in crisis. Do check all essential emergency repair kit is in the car especially a spare tire, jack and car tools.

3. Gas tank must be full and If you are traveling somewhere where gas stations are miles apart and extra 1 gallon bottle of gas will make your journey smooth.

4. First Aid kit must be in the car.Traveling with a family or alone first aid kit is must, Remember the old say 'hope for the best and prepare for the worst'.

5. Timing of journey must be planned well because traffic makes the journey tiring. It will be better to avoid Monday mornings & Friday evening.It might differ but its always better to have an idea of the day you are on the road.

6. Fill your car with water and additional food supply (snacks and bars).

7. Keep zip-locks bags for keeping your food safe, keeping the smelly stuff inside or just in case of motion sickness to avoid messing the car.

8. For summer road trips wear comfortable clothes in the car.

LITTERER 

9. Cap/hat,googles,sunscreen and umbrella are must for summer, hence goes same for road trip.Your car may not look for shade while it get puncture it can happen anywhere and you have to be prepared.

10. Do not litter so better to keep couple of trash bag.In USA littering is environmental issue and is often a criminal offence. In some states you get punished by 1000$ fine and in some place you will get hanged till death.Trust me!
